Eat to Live!


My weakness is still waffle house!

I am stopping the sausage and hashbrowns after todays post to maybe once a month. When I lost the most weight I never ate hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, grits, etc.. I know people who eat the meats and still lose weight which would happen with me but since I have had cholesterol issues I need to stick with lean protein. The simple carbs in hashbrowns, grits is what gets to my blood lipids and insulin levels.
My breakfast almost everyday before was a bowl of oats, two pc. ezekial bread with natural peanut butter and two or three egg whites. I guess all of the disciplined people who are able to stay on course I am sure have something in their life which is undisciplined. I struggle with the eating patterns even though I have had three blocked arteries and know better! DO I NEED AN INTERVENTION?

B-two egg whites, 1 pc wheat toast, hashbrown, 2 pc sausage, unsweet tea
L-turkey sandwich, unsweet tea
Snack-apple
Snack-two sausage links; Johnny's Pizza, unsweet tea
